Join us for a special journey to attend the Jagannath Rath Yatra 2025 in Puri, Odisha. This famous festival is one of the biggest chariot processions in the world. Every year, thousands of devotees gather to watch Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra come out of their temple and travel in giant wooden chariots.

This 3-day trip also includes visits to beautiful temples, beaches, lakes, and historical places around Puri and Bhubaneswar. It’s the perfect mix of spirituality and sightseeing.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Reach Bhubaneswar – Explore Puri & Konark

• Arrive at Bhubaneswar Railway Station

• Drive to Puri (about 2 hours)

• Check in at the hotel

• Visit:

  • Konark Sun Temple – A UNESCO World Heritage Site

  • ASI Museum

  • Chandrabhaga Beach – Optional camel rides

• Lunch break

• Evening:

  • Relax at Golden Beach, Puri

  • Walk around the local market (souvenirs, handicrafts, and famous Khaja sweets)

• Dinner and overnight stay in Puri

Day 2: Rath Yatra – A Divine Experience

• Early morning trip to Bada Danda (Grand Road), Puri

• Watch the Chhera Pahanra ritual (King of Puri sweeps the chariots)

• See the grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra

• View the procession from rooftops or gallery spots (based on availability)

• Evening free for rest or visit Gundicha Temple (if allowed)

• Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 3: Chilika Lake Tour – Return Journey

• Freshen up and check out early

• Drive to Satapada (Chilika Lake)

  • Enjoy a boat ride

  • See Irrawaddy Dolphins

  • Visit Rajhans Island

• Return towards Bhubaneswar

• If time permits, visit:

  • Lingaraj Temple

  • Mukteswar Temple

  • Raja Rani Temple

  • Khandagiri & Udayagiri Caves

• Drop at Bhubaneswar Railway Station for the return train
